Welcome to the Beckisphere Climate Corner, where I talk about climate news and solutions. I founded this YouTube channel in Oct 2020, not sure which way the US elections were heading, but knowing I needed to increase my involvement in climate communications. Not enough people talk about arguably the most important issue in modern history.
So, thus, the Beckisphere was born. I cover international and US-based climate and clean energy news and topics on my YouTube channel, Twitch stream, and sometimes other platforms.
My background is in writing; I don't pretend to be an expert in video production or social media. But it all comes back to researching and writing scripts, which I love. I've always been a social butterfly and comfortable speaker, so I feel like I've fallen naturally into this role.
This journey has forced me into the deep end of YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram stories content creation. I've joined a supportive group of fellow climate YouTubers along the way and I'm absolutely floored by my dedicated subscribers who give me hope for the fate of the future.
